The story

The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is a 40-car, track-only V12 built by Squadra Corse. It is the last naturally aspirated Lamborghini V12 designed without hybrid assistance and is stored and run through a factory programme rather than a normal dealer network.

Forty cars, the last pure V12 Lamborghini, and a factory hangar programme. Collectors who own one treat it as a modern Sesto Elemento with more power.

History

Lamborghini announced the Essenza in 2020 as a 40-car series. Owners receive a hangar at the factory circuit and invitations to track events. The 6.5-liter V12 makes 830 horsepower and drives through a rear-mounted X-Trac sequential gearbox.

On track

The car was developed to FIA prototype safety standards and is the most race-derived Lamborghini sold to customers since the Sesto Elemento. It does not race in a championship; it exists for factory-run track days.
