Model A

The Ford Model A was introduced as a response to the growing competition in the automotive industry and the need for a more modern vehicle than the Model T. It was developed under the leadership of Henry Ford's son, Edsel Ford, and was the first Ford to use a standard set of driver controls, including a conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. The Model A was available in a variety of body styles, including sedans, coupes, and roadsters, and was well-received for its reliability and affordability. By the end of its production run, over 4 million units had been sold, solidifying Ford's position as a leader in the automotive market.
