History

The Ferrari 308 was introduced in 1975 as a successor to the Dino 246 GT and GTS. It was designed by Pininfarina and featured a V8 engine, a departure from the V6 used in the Dino. Over its production run, the 308 underwent several updates, including the transition from carburetors to fuel injection in the 308GTSi and the introduction of four-valve per cylinder technology in the 308 Quattrovalvole. The 308 series was succeeded by the Ferrari 328 in 1985.
