The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is the pontoon-fender sports-racer that won Le Mans in 1958, 1960, and 1961. Original TR 58, TR 59, and TR 61 cars are among the most valuable Ferraris in the world.

History

Ferrari built the Testa Rossa around the 3.0-liter Colombo V12 with red cam covers. Fantuzzi and later Pininfarina bodies defined the look. About 34 customer and works cars were completed.

On track

Le Mans wins in 1958, 1960, and 1961, plus a World Sportscar Championship. The TR is the 1950s Ferrari that collectors put next to a 250 GTO.
