The Bugatti EB110 was developed during a period of revival for the Bugatti brand, which had been dormant for decades. Under the leadership of Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli, the EB110 was designed to compete with the top supercars of the early 1990s. It was unveiled on September 15, 1991, in Paris, on the 110th anniversary of Ettore Bugatti's birth. Despite its groundbreaking technology and performance, the EB110 faced financial difficulties due to the economic downturn of the early 1990s, leading to the company's bankruptcy in 1995.
