Factory Five Racing is the world's largest manufacturer of "build-it-yourself" component car kits.
Founded in 1995 by Mark Smith and Tom Sykes, Factory Five Racing initially focused on producing a Shelby Cobra replica kit, the 427 Roadster, later renamed the 33 Roadster. The company grew steadily by offering affordable, high-quality kits with excellent customer support and community engagement. Over the years, Factory Five expanded its lineup to include the GTM Supercar, the 818 (a Subaru-powered lightweight sports car), the Type 65 Coupe (Daytona Coupe replica), the 35 Hot Rod, and the 23 Roadster. Today, Factory Five is widely regarded as the premier kit car manufacturer in the United States, with tens of thousands of vehicles on the road.
