The story

Brabham is the Formula 1 constructor revived as a track-car maker. The BT62 is a 70-car, 700-horsepower V8 built for circuits, with a later Competition version aimed at sprint racing.

The Fan Car Returns

History

Jack Brabham and Ron Tauranac founded Motor Racing Developments in 1960. The F1 team won titles in 1966 and 1967, then the BT46B fan car in 1978. The modern company, based in Adelaide, launched the BT62 in 2018 as a customer track car.

On track

Historic Brabhams include the BT19, BT24, and BT46B. The BT62 is the car collectors can still buy new: a modern Brabham with a naturally aspirated V8 and no hybrid system.
