Birkin Cars

Founded in 1982 by Dave Malherbe in Johannesburg, South Africa, Birkin Cars was established to bring an affordable, high-performance open-wheel sports car to the South African market. The S3 model, closely inspired by the original Lotus Seven design, quickly gained popularity for its light weight, agile handling, and the pure driving experience it offered. Birkin later introduced the S3 Supercharged with forced induction for greater performance. Over four decades of continuous production, Birkin has built thousands of cars and earned a loyal enthusiast following both locally and internationally.
